Supreme for its Fall/Winter 2022 collection and its creative teams decided to rework one of the many archives of the Air Max line: the 98 TL designed by Sergio Lozano.
The Nike Air Max 98 TL Supreme Black features a black mesh upper with leather overlays and TPU inserts. Reflective elements like the lateral mini Swoosh, tongue co-branding, and bold “SUPREME” branding enhance the cutting-edge design.
On the heel, there are molded patterns that surround the TL Air logo. A full Air Max cushioning outsole completes the retro-futuristic model.
Once again, James Jebbia and Tremaine Emory have managed to reinvent a forgotten Nike classic for collectors.
